Common Questions About FAQ

  • What is the EpiTopus Fund?

The EpiTopus Fund is a bank account that has restrictions against withdrawals. EpiTopus membership fees are deposited directly into the fund. Pet owners, veterinary professionals, and pet-passionate people will directly support pet healthcare by becoming members of EpiTopus.

  • Can anyone join EpiTopus?

Yes. Anyone can become a member of EpiTopus by going to our membership page.

  • Can EpiTopus receive donations?

No, we are an LLC, not a 501c3/non-profit, and cannot receive donations. We rely on our members’ dues.

  • Can members have multiple accounts?

Yes. Each account has its own member dashboard and is $3/month or $30/year.

  • Does all of my membership fee get deposited into the EpiTopus Fund?

Yes, minus the credit processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), the remainder is put directly into the fund.

  • Does EpiTopus share our members’ information?

No, we resist the ‘information grab” and do not voluntarily share our members’ information.

  • Does EpiTopus own or have any stake in supported veterinary practices?

No. EpiTopus does not own any portion of any supported veterinary practice. We temporarily serve on the board of the practice in an advisory capacity.

  • Can non-veterinarians own veterinary practices in my state?
